Cat walk-

No we aren’t talking about you getting into modelling, but cat walk with raised toes is the most efficient and effective calves exercise. Not many would know this, but working out this way would help you attain those gorgeous looking calves in a lesser duration of time.

The added benefit to this workout is that you don’t need any specific place to work your calves out, this can be done even at your home.

Also, you don’t need to be size 0 to feel like a model 😛

 

How to do it?

  1. Find an even ground where you can walk easily.
  2. Start with raising your toes above the ground level.
  3. Try balancing yourself and then walk straight with the toes raised high.
  4. Make a round and then take 10 sec of rest by getting back your toes to the ground and relaxing.
  5. Again start with another round the same way.
  6. Repeat this walk for 3-4 rounds and you’re done.

 

Once you master walking with raised calves and you think you’re body is used to it, then you can place some weights preferably weighted plates or dumb bells on both sides holding them with your hands and then walk.

Adding extra weight to your body weight would help you strengthen your muscles and also tone them up.

How?

While your extra added weight is going to pull you down towards the earth, but when you raise your calves high, your calves work in the opposite direction hence strengthening the calves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So adding this secret to your simple or seated calf raises would help you accelerate building those toned calves.
