Dealing with headaches isn’t surprising when it comes to our modern culture and the lifestyle.
Everyone at a given point of time would have somewhere suffered or is suffering with headaches.
But do all headaches mean the same?
There could be various reasons for headaches but today we are going to talk about the different forms of headaches and how ones actions can help minimize it.

- Tension headache-
Do you suffer with pain all over your head and not just specific regions for a few hours?And your neck and jaw muscles seem to become tight enough? And do medicines like paracetamol bring relief to you?
Well if yes, then most probably you suffer with tension headache.
The most common form of headache, basically gets triggered with stress. It also is a cause of tight and stiff muscles; mainly your scalp, shoulders and neck.
People suffering with tension headache often go for painkillers with paracetamol but remember to not get too used to the medication.
In order to bring relief to the body, you should start exercising your body. Regular massages can help release the tight muscles in your back, neck and shoulders. Also get your eyes checked because eye staining is also another cause of tension headache.
- Cluster headache-
Do you feel sharp, stabbing pain at the end of your eyes or nose? Usually lasting for a few minutes but nothing seems to be relieving the pain?
The rarest form of headaches but the most intense headaches are these cluster headaches.
They are also called as suicide headaches as the pain seems so intense but since the pain seems to come as clusters, it is called cluster headache.
Avoiding stress and other triggers like alcohol may help more than going for painkillers but during the attacks, painkillers seem of no good use.
Nowadays, pure oxygen therapy which is recommended by experts seems to be of great relief in bringing the suicide headaches down. It involves breathing oxygen through a mask several times in a day.
So its important to identify your headache type and treat it the best possible way.
